Christian Education Committee

The advisory group works with clergy and staff to provide vision and planning support for St. John’s Christian formation and education programs from nursery age to adults. Contact: The Rev. Lisa A. Saunders

Church Growth Committee

The Committee is responsible for development of means to attract new members and enhance the experience of current parishioners. It has revised the Church's informational brochures and flyers, its Website and other ways of advertising St. John's to the community and to visitors to Washington. Contact: Kaye Edwards.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for the preparation of the annual budget for the Parish and for overseeing the financial health of the Church.

Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is responsible for organizing the extensive outreach efforts of St. John's and its parishioners in the community. Contact: in the Parish Office.

Properties Committee

The Committee is responsible for the condition and operations of the Church's buildings and grounds. It provides oversight and support to the administrative staff in the area of property management. Contact: in the Parish Office.

Quinby Committee

The Quinby Committee administers the Quinby Fund which supports special projects in the Parish and the community.

Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee plays a central role in the stewardship of annual giving to the Church in support of mission and ministry and of God’s work in this world. But just as you excel in everything ....see that you also excel in this grace of giving. (II Corinthians 8:7) The Committee plans and carries out the Annual Stewardship Campaign, including the Leadership Pledge effort, mailings and the every member phone canvass.
